This informational packet promotes a vision of “successful aging” for LGBT elders, which encompasses a variety of quality-of-life issues that affect all senior citizens, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. This information is designed to help funders recognize and resource this vision for healthy aging within the LGBT community, which faces numerous barriers to accessing the services and support systems that promote “successful aging” in our society.
