Health Care, Housing, and Property – Planning Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Older Adults

Although in their infancy, rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) older adults are continuing to be developed and defined. Advocates are forging tools and resources to be used in pressing issues—such as health care, housing, and property rights—of relevance to the LGBT community. For example, LGBT older adults should be able to make informed health care choices and have available before them suitable choices for their health and welfare.
