• HIV infections are rising in older adults. • People ages 50+ accounted for 17% of new Philadelphia HIV/AIDS cases in 2010. • Over 38% of people living with HIV/AIDS in Philadelphia are over 50. • Condoms prevent sexually transmitted diseases, not just pregnancy. • Providers don’t talk to older adults about sexual health. • If you have unprotected sex, you are at risk for HIV infection. • If you ever used injected drugs or shared needles, you are at risk for HIV infection. • HIV testing is free and confidential. • Call 267-940-5515 for testing information.
